A few months ago, Matt Hawkins, a former teacher of mine, recommended that I speak at I-Con, a scifi/gaming/comic/nerd convention at Stonybrook University. I had never been to a con like that before, and it sounded interesting, so I said OK.
Suffice to say, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Yes, I was surrounded by nerds, but they were COOL nerds (well, most of them) and I had a very good time speaking on panels and giving a one-hour speech about indie adventure games. I even went to a panel discussion on Anime Hentai tentacle porn. Yes, tentacle porn. Please don’t ask for more details.
Anyway, the cool thing about going to cons like this are the people walking around dressed up like characters from their favorite game, comic, movie, cartoon, or whatever. This is known as costume playing (or cosplaying), and I took many pictures.
I took so many cosplay pictures that I put them up on a seperate page to save bandwidth, so click HERE to see the cosplayers in action.
Till next time,
